Is Blackjack with Early Payout ® V2.0 different from regular blackjack?
Blackjack has been a staple of both live and online casinos since their inception. However, Celtic Casino has decided to add a small twist to the traditional game that makes it more user-friendly for both veterans of the game as well as newcomers. Now, with the early payout option, players can "kill" the hand and take the money.
Because the game is dealt online, more than one person will be playing the hand. This is the major difference when playing live blackjack versus playing it online. Celtic Casino recognizes that not all players will use basic strategy and would prefer to play their hands as they wish. Anyone not wishing to follow the basic strategy the dealer follows can take a payment at anytime in the hand. All payouts are based on what the dealer is showing.
How do you play Live Blackjack with Early Payout® V2.0
Just like standard blackjack, all bets must be placed prior to any cards being dealt. Chip denominations can be changed by moving the cursor over the various denominations and clicking on them. Just like in live blackjack, the player can choose the position of any hand they wish to play. To add more chips of a denomination to the wager, continue to click the left mouse button. Just remember that no bet may exceed the maximum allowed on the table. To remove chips, place the cursor over your stack and use the right mouse button.
Once the bets are made, the cards will be dealt. When all initial hands are dealt, meaning the first two cards, the dealer will offer the option to each player of following through on the hand or taking the early payout. If the player chooses to take the early payout, they are paid accordingly and their hand is over. If they choose to move forward, basic rules are followed through the completion of the hand. Please note that the dealer hand will hit on 16 and always stands on 17.
How to win at Live Blackjack with Early Payout® V2.0
Everyone will have their own strategy, but it is important to take advantage of the payout option to increase the overall chances of winning at Live Blackjack with Early Payout® V2.0. Many live players will compare this to a free type of insurance when playing online for the first time. In standard blackjack, a player is offered insurance when the dealer is dealt a Ace face up. Here, the player can take an early payout regardless of what the dealer is holding.
For example, if the player is dealt a hand of 13 and the dealer is showing a face card, the prudent move would be to take the lower payout and eat the small loss. The other option is to play the hand out and hope for some combination that would equal eight points. We have all been there before and know how that usually works out. By taking the early payout, the player can decrease their losses and move onto the next hand. This presents a significant advantage to the educated blackjack player.
When following through on a hand, realize that all strategy is based on the basic strategy of blackjack, as are all rules of the game. For instance, all blackjacks are paid out at 3:2. Insurance bets are half of the original wager, pay out at 2:1 and are offered when the dealer shows an Ace. The insurance bet is forfeited if the dealer does not have a face card or a 10 under.
