Understanding Blackjack

To understand the game of Blackjack you need to understand the idea behind the game.  In simple terms, the idea is for the player to put together a hand that is valued closer to the number 21, which is called blackjack.  The idea is that the player should have a hand closer to 21 than the dealer without going over 21.  One benefit of this game is that the player does not have to pay attention to the hands of other players as this game is played independently of all other players at the table. In other words, each player is playing against the hand of the dealer.
