If you are new to the game of Roulette you will pleased to know that it is not a difficult game to play, but there are some basic things that you need to know before you sit down at a casino table.  First, you should know that the object of the game involves each player predicting where the ball will land on the Roulette wheel after each spin.  This is not something that can be predicted with 100% certainty as this is definitely a game of chance and luck plays a huge part in who wins and who does not.

In some instances there will be a 37 slot wheel and in the United States players will play on a 38 slot wheel.  Each slot represents a number with the American wheel having two zeros.  Players will wager on a number or numbers and then the dealer will spin the wheel and just before the wheel stops the dealer will call “no more bets” and all betting has to cease.  Up until his point each player, of which there can be up to eight, is allowed to continue to bet or even change their original bet.  When the wheel stops and the ball has landed on the number the dealer will pay out those that need to be paid and betting will resume.
