BlackJack

While UltimateBet is known for their poker we decided to check out their BlackJack tables to see if they are as good at offering Blackjack as they are at offering poker.  We joined a table that had five of seven seated and we were immediately taken with the graphics and how quickly things move.  The game is very easy to understand with this format and you don’t have to wonder exactly what is going on at any time because at the bottom right of the screen you’ll find a chat area where you know what is going on because it lets you know if the dealer is dealing, waiting for the players to bet, and what the dealer has.  This is a very great way to play!

We started out with 1,000 chips and we instantly won on our first hand with 19 out of 21 when the dealer had just 17.  On our next hand we lost 100 chips and then on the next hand we lost 100 more chips but still we were not deterred. We figured losing two hands in a row could only mean that things would get better.  Luckily on our next hand we got blackjack and we were back up to where we were when we started, which was satisfying to say the least.  On our next hand we had 19 and we held and won an additional 200 chips.  Next we ended up with 13 and we decided to hit and we ended up losing.  The game moves very fast and for our final hand we had 18 and we held and we won again.  All of these hands took place in a matter of about five minutes and we came away with more chips than we started with and we were excited that we did so well our first time out of the gate with UltimateBet.

The table that we chose ended up having just three sitting by the time we were done and had a 100 minimum and 20,000 maximum.  While we didn’t come away rich we walked away with 245 more chips than we started with, and this was nothing to be ashamed of.  For people that are new to UltimateBet, they may find that it is helpful to observe the game of blackjack before they play because it does move so fast.  While it moves fast the chat box as well as the clear graphics really does allow all of the players to get the most of their time and efforts at the table.  The players are given plenty of time to place bets and determine if they should hit or hold, despite the fast pace of the game.

This blackjack game was a great diversion and would be a nice option for those that want to play a casino game but don’t have a lot of time to spend.  Perhaps a lunch break game, or a way to pass a few minutes of downtime during the day.  While UltimateBet is known for their poker games this is a game that everyone should check out!
