This is a fun type Poker game with simple rules and technique. It offers a wide range of betting types that offer even money to 2,000 to one. Gamers place bets on Banker and Player hands, instead of their hands, like Punto Banco Baccarat. The game consists of a 40 cards deck that only has aces, kings, queens, jacks. Half of the cards are red in color and the other half are of green color.

You can wager on various types of game results. Also, you may place large or low quantities bet. Just go to the “Betting” section below for further information on the available types of bets.

Both the Banker, green colored and on the right side of the table; and the Player, red colored and on the left side of the table have their own zones on their sides for you to bet on. You may bet on Tens, Jacks, Queens, Kings, Aces, Straight, Full House, Four of a Kind, and Grand Slam or Five of a Kind.

Understanding Grand Slam

To start, put your bets on any of the betting zones before the cards are dealt during the shuffle. The player and banker are dealt two hands after five cards are drawn face down. The banker and player hands are shown to display the winner. You win or lose according to the results.

Hand Ranking

“Grand Slam” uses the same ranking system as other Poker style card games with the difference that flushes are not used. “Grand Slam” has seven hand types in the game, only one being the result for each hand. A pair is the lowest hand. Here is the list from the lowest ranking to the highest ranking for all hands:

  1. Pair.
  2. Three of a kind.
  3. Straight.
  4. Full House.
  5. Four of a kind.
  6. Grand Slam or Five of a kind.

All hands are first classified by using the list above. After the ranking has been determined, the hands have to be classified according to the value of cards obtained. Aces are the highest ranked cards, then kings, queens, jacks, and tens. For example, a pair of queens wins against a pair of tens.

Logo

This bet depends on the top cards dealt to both the Banker and the Player. To win here, both cards have to be of the same color, which is either green or red. This bet pays on a one to one ratio.

Player (P)

Here, you have to put bets on the P betting zone, if you are playing for the Player’s hand to win. You may go to the “Hand Ranking” guide above for more information.

Bets are paid on a rate of one to one, if the Player’s hand is the highest ranked. If the hands are tied between the Player and the Banker with hands of Grand Slam, four of a kind, full house, straight and three of a kind, then, the payout is still the same paid on a one to one ratio. But, if a tie exists between the Banker and the Player with a pair or two pair, the bet is lost.

Banker (B)

For this type of wager, put your bet in the B betting zone if you want the Banker’s hand to win. Go to the “Hand Ranking” section above for more information.

Bets are paid on a one to one ratio, if the Banker’s hand is the highest ranked. If the Banker and the Player have a tie with hands of Grand Slam, four of a kind, full house, straight, or three of a kind, the bet is also paid on a one to one rate. But, the bet is lost if the hands are tie with a pair or two pairs, or if the Player has the highest hand.
