Aces and Faces is a great video poker game that is offered by Dublin Bet Casino.  We hadn’t yet played this game on the site so we were anxious to review it.  While a lot of other websites offer many different video poker options, we know that Dublin Bet Casino has set the bar high so we had high expectations.  As soon as the interface opened we knew that we were in for a real treat.  The screen was very colorful and featured wonderful graphics and when we hit the deal button we realized that the game featured nice sound effects, as well.  The game recreated the casino experience quite well.

One thing that struck us about this game is that it could be played by anyone, including those that have never played video poker before.  The layout is very understandable so that the player can simply jump in and start enjoying themselves.  On the bottom of the screen the player will find all of the information that they need.  First, they can determine how much they would like to bet on each hand and then they simply need to push the “deal” button.  When this button is pushed the dealer deals the cards and the player can then decide if he or she would like to hold onto any of the cards in anticipation of making a good hand with the new cards that are dealt.

When the new cards are dealt the player knows immediately if they have won or not because there are some great sound effects that let the player know that they have won.  When the player has won they can then decide if they would like to double half of their winnings or double all of their winnings, or simply take the win and move onto the next hand.  When you choose to double half or double all of your winnings one card appears on the screen.  The card is face down and then the player needs to determine if the card will be black or red and they click on the corresponding icon.

If the player chooses the right color, he or she is again asked if they would like to double half or all of their winnings, or accept the new win total.  We decided that we would continue to double all of our winnings just to test the system.  In our previous attempts we had found that we could choose black three out of four times and continue to double our winnings.  We were betting just .10 each time around but in one attempt we were able to double up so that we had won a dollar, which was a lot of fun!  It wasn’t a huge win, but it was fun to continue to double up again and again on our winnings.
