Online Multi Hand Blackjack Guide: CelticCasino.com

CelticCasino online multi hand blackjackCeltic Casino (NEW!) Blackjack's history is heavily contested still, but, it is thought to have begun from French games like "French Ferme" and "Chemin de fer." Blackjack was first played in casinos in France around the early 1700's where it was named "Vingt-et-un" and in the United States it has been played for almost two hundred years. The name Blackjack is derived from the fact that if a player gets an ace of spades and a jack of spades in the first two dealt cards, the player was given extra remuneration.

Basic Rules

The purpose of Blackjack is to achieve a hand with the closest possible number to twenty-one without going over twenty-one and beating the dealer's hand.

In Blackjack, face cards count as ten, aces as either eleven or one, and number cards count as the face value they have. If you get a ten valued card and an ace in the initial two cards, you win one and a half times your wager because you have a Blackjack. For example, if your wager was twenty, you get twenty plus thirty for a total of fifty. If you beat the dealer by having a closer hand to twenty-one, you win the same amount that you bet. For example, if your wager was for twenty, you get twenty plus twenty for a total of forty. If your hand goes over twenty-one, you lose because you when bust. If the dealer and you achieve the same card value, no one wins and your wager is given to you. A score of twenty-one is beaten by Blackjack (achieved in two hands).

Split

If your initial two cards have an equal value, you can split the two cards and play two separate hands with the second wager being the same as the initial wager. You can then have your cards dealt. If you split with two aces you do not get a Blackjack even if you get a twenty one in one of the hands.

Double

Once you have been given two cards and you consider that one extra card will let you defeat the hand of the dealer, you may raise your starting wager by the equal quantity as your initial wager. Your bet is doubled, and you are given only one extra card. The casino games could have differences of when you are allowed to double the bet. For example, at any moment after the initial two cards, with the cards' total being from eight to eleven, or with a cards' total being eleven or ten. Do revise this with the casino.

Insurance

If the dealer's initial card is an ace, insurance is given as an option. Insurance is like another game inside of Blackjack. It gives you the opportunity to protect your bet when you consider that the dealer could get a Blackjack. To buy insurance, you put half of your starting wager by clicking the "Insurance" button. If the dealer attains a Blackjack, you are given a two to one pay on the insurance wager. For example, if you wager twenty and insure ten, with the dealer having a Blackjack regardless of a tie or lost against the dealer you will be paid ten plus twenty for a total of thirty. You lose the insurance wager in the case that the dealer does not get a Blackjack.

Checking for BlackJack

The dealer will look at his face down card if the dealer's has an ace card faced up. If the dealer gets a Blackjack by his face down card being a ten or a face card, the value will be shown and the game will be ended. The dealer wins in this scenario. But, in case that the dealer's face down card does not achieve a Blackjack, the face down card will not be turned over and the game will be played.

If the dealer's first card is face card or a ten, insurance is not given as an option, the face down card will be looked at and if is an ace, the game will be over and the card shown. The dealer also wins in this scenario. But, if the dealer's face down card does not achieve a Blackjack the face down card will not be turned and the game will be played.

The Game play Sequence

All of our games are played by entering the game, picking the limits for the table, wagering, playing and looking for the outcome of your wager and selections for your game play. We will mention these levels of game play and tell you the necessary information that you need to become an experienced player!

The information for all of these parts of the process for game play is here:

Starting the Game: Once you have chosen a game to play from the game menu, a screen will popup.

TableLimits

This is the game screen. You will find the table for the game, the console for the game, and other buttons.

Choosing the Limits for the Table: A screen might be shown with three options for table limits, before you play a game. These are the table limits that will be in effect on your wagering-you cannot wager less than the minimum, nor more than the maximum. These wager limits affect EVERY wager area. For example, in Blackjack, the limits affect every wager location individually. If you are not asked to pick a limit for the table the game will have a predetermined limit set by the casino and it will be shown on a table's plaque.

Placing your wager: Once you have picked your limits for the table, the limits screen will be taken off (the limits for the table will still be shown on the plaque located t to the right section of the chip zone on the table). At the bottom of the table, on the left corner, there are a set of chips, every chip with different values shown on the chips' surface. There are either one or more wager zones on the table. These zones are displayed as lighter circles. In Keno, Sic Bo, Roulette, and several games you can position the mouse cursor to look at the various betting zones.

To make a wager, press on a chip, and then press in the wager zone. The chip with the quantity you chose will be displayed in the wager zone. The value on the chip will be subtracted from your Balance and placed with your Bet.

To withdraw a bet, Control-Press on top of the chip (click and hold the "ctrl" icon and then press on top of the chip). This will remove the chip from the table, and the chip's value will be subtracted from your Bet and placed with your Balance.

Spin/Roll/Deal: According to the casino game that you are playing, you could begin the game by clicking "Spin," "Roll," or "Deal" icons. These icons are found in the middle of the table. When you click this icon, the dealer will draw the initial cards, spin the roulette wheel, or spin the tumbler to commence the game.

Game Play: Every individual game progresses differently. Games like Blackjack, progress through several levels where you have to choose among several plays. Other games, such as Baccarat, only have one level where the cards are given and the player either loses or wins.

Rules for the casino games have information on the game play in extensive detail. To access these game rules, select the game from the menu located at the top of this rules screen.

Commencing a New Game: Once you have finished the game, you can play a new game by pressing the "New Game" icon. If you are on a casino card game, the cards are reshuffled at the beginning of every new game. At the start of a new game, you could opt to re-bet. This will put the equal amount of wagers on the table that you put in the game that you just placed. Just press on the "Re-bet" icon!

This talks about the simple game play for our awesome casino games. For instructions on a specific game, choose the game from the menu located on top. Do note you may always go to the Help area by pressing the "Help" icon in the games or by pressing on the "Help" menu icon on the website's main page.
