Celtic Casino (NEW!)
American Roulette, the Game
Introduction
Roulette was originally developed in England in the 1700's
derived from a game named Roly Poly.
Roly Poly had only black and white betting zone without the
numbers. The game was redesigned
by the French in the late 1700's to add the numbers. At first, the American wheel only had thirty one numbers and
the zero, double zero, and a third zero represented by an American eagle. The European roulette wheel of today
has only one zero. The American
roulette wheel has a zero and a double zero. Both the European and American wheels of today have thirty
six numbers. Roulette is one of
the most popular games in the world.
Players, which can be up to eight per table, play against the casino
represented by the dealer, who spins the roulette wheel and manages the bets
and payments. The American wheel
has thirty eight spaces for thirty six numbers, a double and a single zero.
Basic Rules
To play our roulette, put your wager on the chosen numbers
even the zero and double zero located on the table layout or on the outside
betting zones. After all the
players have made their wager the dealer sets to spin the wheel and lets the
ball loose. Just a few seconds
pass before the ball is set to fall on the spaces, the dealer yells "no more
bets." From that point on, players cannot make nor change any bets until the
ball falls on a space. Only after
the dealer has put the dolly on the winning number on the roulette table and
takes all the losing wagers, you may then begin to place your new wagers while
the dealer pays the winning players.
The winning players are those with wagers that are on or around the
number in which the ball fell. Also the wagers on the outside layout of the
table win only if their number is the one represented where the ball falls.
There are various ways to make roulette wagers. Every wager covers a different group of
numbers and has a different layout, as displayed in the winnings table area.
Straight Up
You can wager on any number, even zero, by putting the chip
on the middle of a number.
Split Bet
You can wager on any two numbers by putting a chip on the
line that connects the two numbers.
Street Bet
You may wager on any three numbers by putting a chip on the
inside left line of the roulette table that is close to the corresponding
column of three numbers.
Corner Bet
You may wager on four numbers by putting chips at the corner
portion where four numbers intersect.
Five Bet
You may wager on the numbers three, two, one, zero, and
double zero by putting chips in the inside left boundary line between one and
zero.
Line Bet
You may wager on two street wagers (for example, the six
different roulette numbers in two columns of three roulette numbers), by
putting your chip on the inside left line where the line dividing the two
columns meet.
Column Bet
There are three sections marked "2 to 1" at the lower portion
of a column of numbers. You may put wagers for all these numbers by putting
your chip in one of these sections.
If any of the numbers in your row wins, you win on a rate of two to one
with the zero and double zero losing.
Dozen Bet
You may wager on a bunch of twelve numbers by putting your
chip in one of the three section labeled "3rd 12," "2nd 12," or "1st 12." If one of your twelve numbers wins, you get paid
on a two to one ratio with zero and double zero losing.
Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets
You can put a wager in one of the sections on the left,
corner of the table that has half the roulette's numbers, not counting the zero
and double zero. Every section
contains eighteen numbers. You win
on a rate of one to one on all of these wagers, with zero and double zero being
losing numbers.
Winning Number Display
The winning number display has the results for the earlier thirteen spins.

The Game play Sequence
All of our games are played by first entering the game,
selecting the table limits, wagering, and looking at the result of your wager
and game play options. We will
discuss the levels of game play, and show you all the necessary information for
you to become a great player.
Here is some detailed information of each of these levels of
the game play evolution:
Starting the game: Once you have chosen a game from the game
menu, a screen will popup.
This is the game screen. You will have the game table, the
console for the game, and various buttons.
Choosing the table limits: Before commencing the game you can be shown with a screen
that has three options for table limits.
These are the limits that will affect your wagers-you cannot wager less
than the minimum or more than the maximum. These wager limits affect to every wager zone. For example,
in Blackjack, the table limits affect every wager zone individually. If you are not asked to select a table
limit the game would have been given a table limit by default and it is shown
on a table's plaque.
Placing your bet:
Once you have chosen your limits for the table, the limits screen will
be taken off (the table limits will still be shown on the plaque located to the
right of the chip zone on the table).
On the left corner, bottom of the table are a bunch of chips, each chip
with a different value labeled on its surface. On the casino table are one or several wager zones. These zones are displayed with a
lighter area. In Keno, Roulette,
Sic Bo and other games you could move your mouse around the table to see the
various wager zones.
To place a bet, press on a chip, press in the wager
zone. The chip with the quantity
you have chosen will be shown in the wager zone. The quantity of the chip will be subtracted from your gaming
balance and placed back to your bet.
To remove a bet, press-click on the chosen chip (click and
hold the control button and then press on the chosen chip). The chip will be
removed from the casino table, and the chip's value will be subtracted from
your bet and placed into your balance.
Deal/spin/roll:
According to the game that you are playing, you have to commence the
game play by clicking the spin, roll, or deal buttons. These buttons will be placed in the
middle of the table. When you
click the button, the dealer will draw the initial cards, spin the sic bo
tumbler, or spin the wheel to commence the game.
Game play: The
way the game progresses is based on every individual game. Games, like blackjack, have a game
progression that goes through many levels where you have to choose between
various plays. Other games, like
baccarat, have only one level-the cards are drawn and you either lose or win.
The rules for the games are covered in extensive detail. To access these rules, select the game
from the menu located above this rules screen.
Starting a new game:
Once you have finished the game, you can play a new game by pressing on
the new game icon. If playing a
casino card game the cards are always reshuffled at the beginning of every new
game. At the start of the new
game, you may use the re-bet option.
This will put the equal wagers on the table that you made in the earlier
game. Just press the re-bet
button.
This covers the easy game play for every one of the exciting
games in our website. For detail
game directions, choose the game from the menu on top. Do note that you can always go to the
help area by pressing on the help icon in the games, or by pressing on the help
menu icon in the website's main page.
